“Being a Woman” an NGO has been registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 on st21 December 2011 to initiate a movement for women Empowerment. “Being a Woman” is a non-profit organization on all India basis having registered office in Delhi.

Free Eye Check-up Camp
A Free Eye Check-up Camp on Sunday 27th March 2016 .A successful camp was organised by collaboration with Alshifa Multi Speciality Hospital. Around 320 patients got their eye checked up by renowned doctors of Alshifa Hospital. Free medicines distributed by hospital and Being a Woman NGO distributed glasses to needy patient. camp has started at 9 pm till 6 p.m.Patients came from Zakir Nagar,Battla House,joga bai,okhla,noor nagar,johri farm,gafar manzil,hazi colony,nayi basti,tikona park,Abul Fazal Enclave,Shaheen Bagh,jasola,jaitpur…Being a Woman volunteers did praiseworthy work.
A Free camp for Kidney disease ,Urology and Eye Care was organised with our contribibution at Alshifa Multi Speciality Hospital,Abul Fazal Enclave on 27th November 2016 {Sunday) where 55 Urology patients ,Nephrology patients 73 and 232 Eye patients were checked up by senior physicians expert in their field and given medical advice thereof to them.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
A group of 10 girls are undergoing training for embroidery and handicrafts likely to be concluded some times in the month of September 2017 under Skill Development Programme.
