Who We Are
Being A Woman (Regn. No. S/750/Distt. South/2011) is a Delhi-based, pan-India NGO passionately committed to empowering women and uplifting marginalized communities through a holistic approach to education, healthcare, and skill development. Officially founded and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 on 21st December 2011, we have been working tirelessly as a non-profit organization with our registered office in Delhi, serving communities both locally and across the nation.
From our inception, our core mission has been to address the multi-faceted challenges faced by women from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. We strive to bridge the gap in access to quality education, provide meaningful opportunities for economic advancement, and ensure essential healthcare support for those who need it most.

					Our Vision
Empower underprivileged women and children by enabling economic independence, expanding educational facilities, and ensuring access to essential health care. We strive to create a society where every woman—regardless of her circumstances—can live with dignity, opportunity, and self-reliance.

					Our Mission
To transform the lives of women and children through inclusive education, comprehensive healthcare, and practical skill-building programs. While our initial efforts began in Jamia Nagar, South East Delhi, our vision extends to cover Delhi, the NCR region, and step by step, communities across India.
